Welcome to our Judo club

We are a friendly, family-orientated club with over 60 years experience of teaching Judo.

Hereford Judo Club is affiliated to the British Judo Association, the sports National Governing Body.

Who can train

Our club caters for Juniors (starting from 8 years old) to Seniors (Adults) of all abilities. We are very proud of our strong female contingent, which proves Judo is a sport for all, not just the guys.

No Licence, No Judo

As a beginner, the club’s insurance will cover you for your first month of training sessions

As a BJA affiliated Club we are obliged to inform you that the BJA operate a:-'No Licence - No Judo' policy. Training without a license offers no Insurance cover for either the unlicensed player or his opponent.
Full Judo licenses enable students to grade via the coloured belt system. It also allows you to enter local and national competitions, which we actively encourage.
